Santa Fe cont'd

We started off the day with breakfast at Santa Fe Bakery one of my favorite stops here. Then on to Jackalope and the Indian Flea Market . Jeanne is standing my my chunk of tourquoise! We went to the Cowboy Cafe Cantina for late lunch. Check out the shaman that was calling my name. I couldn't help myself ...had to have him .

Tooling around Santa Fe

We have been here for four days now. The first day we spent most of our time around the Plaza. We went to the Cathedral and I found the labryinth on the side. Thanks Jay. We went to the Loretto Chapel and the folk art museum that say also. Wednesday we went to Abiquiqu and toured Georgia O'Keefe's home and studio. After that we went to Chimayo and had late lunch there (great sangria!). Thursday we went to Taos and walked around poking in shops and galleries. On the way home we had planned to stop at Embudo Station which is on the banks of the Rio Grande River. When we got there, it was closed and the property posted!! I was so disappointed. This morning we are at Santa Fe Bakery having breakfast and then on to the Indian flea market by the Santa Fe Opera.

Santa Fe Sisters.

It's finally here ! We start our much anticipated trip to Santa Fe tomorrow morning , flying in to Albuquerque and then renting a car for the drive to Santa Fe. We'll be staying in a Casita in town with our own private courtyard where I am sure we will be relaxing with our glasses of wine at night as we watch the beautiful sunsets. Our week will be packed full of sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping. Stayed tuned....
